When Ekstremsportveko kicks off for the 15th time, it is with great pleasure that we can announce the best ever music program! Stars like Mos Def & Talib Kweli (as Black Star), De La Soul and Raga Rockers are all ready as well as some of the most exciting artists we find on the Norwegian music scene today; Lars Vaular, Team Me and Eye Emma Jedi.

"Ekstremsportveko has always been good to book hip hop, reggae, soul and funk. With the booking of legends like Black Star and Del La Soul we do not only keep the tradition alive - we also take a major step in the direction of standing out as a decent music festival and not just an extreme event with this music program, " booking manager Gaute Haaversen West-Hassel says.

Black Star gave out the album "Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star" in 1998. Today it is considered as one of the most important hip hop albums released, and we are not less enthusiastic when the duo is finally reunited, and that we have managed to get them to Voss! The boys are highly actual with their new album, which hopefully is released before Veko starts. After finding success as solo artists, there's an even greater expectation for the new album, which is strongly influenced by Aretha Franklin, Madlib and Jay Dilla. It can not be more than solid!

We are also tremendously glad to see the legends De La Soul on Norwegian soil again! Their debut album 3 Feet High and Rising, is widely rcognized as one of the best hip hop albums released, and we look enormously forward to hear hits like Saturdays, The Magic Number, etc.

No one could forget about Raga Rockers when Norwegian rock history should be written, and most likely they will be mentioned already in the first sentence. After decades on the road, the guys have concluded that this will be their last tour ever. Ektremsportveko has been lucky enough to get one of few dates and we look forward to welcoming the band for the first time. It's about time!

Lars Vaular is already an established name, but his latest album "You mean me," showed that the artist from Bergen never ceases to surprise. Having the chance to confirm that Team Me and Eye Emma Jedi also will play at Voss during Veko, we present three of the most exciting artists on the Norwegian scene today.
