Experience western freeride like a true Norwegian - great cash prizes and rewards await the riders who are ready to have fun and challenge the mountain. Western freeride is a perfect combination of beautiful mountains in the west of Norway, summer snow, happy faces and tons of fun. The competition will take place on June 26th, most likely at Vikafjell, but exact location will be decided closer to the event. 

Sure you have heard about Voss freeride before, a venue with big open faces, short steep pitches with fun cliffs. But this year we have more to offer. The competition will have two kickers where the riders will be able to pull of some big stunts, and it will also offer a great show for the crowd. Watch the athletes do all they have in order to impress both judges and you!

All the riders’ needs safety equipment: Shovel, probe, helmet and transceiver required.

Please note that you have to register prior to the competition/activity and it´s YOUR responsibility to be at the registration office during opening hours (from 09.00  -  21.00, festival tent). To be a part of the organized activities at Ekstremsportveko you must have the wristband that indicates you´re an athlete.
